Executive Chef Nico Daniele
I trained in the world renowned culinary school ALMA Scuola Internazionle di Cucina Italiana. I received my masters degree in culinary arts from there as well as a degree from The French Culinary Institute. I began my career as a pastry chef in four star hotel located in the city of Trapani, Sicily. After returning home, I continued my road in the culinary world working in well known restaurants in NYC. After doing a gig on the cooking channel, I was offered a job as the head chef of a successful winebar/enoteca on the lower east side. It was during my tenure there that I was inspired to open up my own restaurant with my family.
Chef De Cuisine: Angel Flores
Upon graduating The French Culinary Institute he staged for Chef Daniel Boulud at the renowned restaurant Daniel in New York City. Chef Flores worked his way up to become Chef De Parti at Daniel. After his experience working at Daniel he went on to work at various restaurants such as Jean George, Eleven Madison Park, Ciano, and Vucciria. Chef Flores traveled to France, Spain and Costa Rica to expand his culinary knowledge. Once returning to NYC he met Chef Nico and began working at Bella GIoia.

Chef Nico Daniele continues to create fresh and surprising menus including dishes such as a center cut bone-in pork chop served over parsnip puree and caramelized brussel sprouts with agrodolce sauce.
