about

Wild Garlic is the latest addition to the vibrant Davao restaurant scene. Combining rich local flavors with a hint of European influence and ambiance.

story

The name Wild Garlic is inspired by the traditional Tagalog cooking style of being liberal with the use of garlic as the main flavor and aromatic ingredient. Filipinos generally regard the aroma of food as a main criterion to how we appreciate sumptuous cooking and, hence, one food chain’s rise to prominence was started by a slogan that best captures this cultural characteristic—“langhap-sarap”.

Wild Garlic restaurant revives old, forgotten Tagalog recipes intertwined with exotic foreign recipes to fill the gap of what traditional culture and taste crave for. It is certainly a welcome addition to Davao’s vibrant restaurant scene where variety and uniqueness are celebrated. The cozy European-inspired restaurant design provides a contrast to ensure that your total dining experience will truly be a wild ride in the most sublime, positive sense.

Think grilled peri-peri inspired chicken with sweet, lava-like peanut sauce, or for the adventurous, the hot and tangy authentic peri-peri sauce; mouth-watering binagoongan paired with garlic-laced laing; or old-style callos simmering in olive oil and yes, more garlic! Of course, our wild desserts crafted to satisfy every sweet-toothed gastronomic adventurer can round out all that garlic at the end of each meal.

Wild Garlic. Old-fashioned food. Chic ambience.
